| FAA Part 141 & VA Approved Flight Instruction For Over 20 Years! Authorized Cirrus Training Center |
January 29, 2010 |
It's winter out there! |
We probably didn't need to mention the obvious, but it means that you may find ice, snow and frost during your preflight. Contaminants must be removed from wings and the empennage prior to flight. The desk staff or instructors will be happy to assist you in finding snow brooms and deicing fluid. If the aircraft is outside in temperatures in the low 20s, or colder, the engine may need to be preheated. A staff member will have to operate the preheater. Thank you for your understanding. |
New Schedule System |
| The new schedule system, Flight Schedule Pro, was implemented with great success! Thank you for your feedback and for pointing out issues you discovered. We have worked to have all of them resolved, and we thank you for your patience. If you have not yet signed on to the new system, you may follow the instructions and the link on our home page to log in. |
| Please update your contact and pilot information in the system. Please note: There has been some confusion as to where to put phone numbers and email addresses. Phone numbers are entered on a different screen than the email addresses. Many people (yes, me included) put phone numbers on the email address screen. The system accommodates email addresses for "home", "mobile", "office", "other" and "pager", which led to the confusion. |
