Comedy in Flight

The following exchange took place between a PFC instructor and Brainard Tower on a recent windy day as the plane exited the runway after pattern work with a student:

Brainard Tower: "12L, you all done for the day?"

9412L: "Yea, unless I can scrounge up another student. My 3:00 had to cancel because he was sick. Unless you wanna go for a ride!"

Brainard Tower: "No thanks. I'm gainfully employed right now."

9412L: "What's that got to do with it? If we stay in the pattern you can control from the plane!"

Brainard Tower: "I'd need to bring the radar screen."

9412L: "Isn't there an app for that?"
